T-Shirt Quilt
T-Shirt quilts are interesting -- you can do as little as you'd like, or get rather complicated. Most quilting sites only offer a general meander covering the entire quilt. For this quilt, I used seven different colors of threads to compliment all of the different panels. The borders and sashings have their own unique themes, echoing the general sports concept of the quilt. For the blocks, I matched the quilting theme to the T-shirt theme when I could use a particular quilting theme -- see the water theme, the outlined letters, and the star themes below. This was obviously a more complicated example than what you might typically see done on a T-shirt quilt! It's your choice, of course, on how to do your quilt, no matter what the project. |
