Purple Flowers and Birds Quilt
This is a relatively straight-forward quilt; the design is an all-over pantograph, but you will notice that the repeating pattern is much more complicated that can be accomplished using traditional pantograph techniques. To the right is the final design used on the PCQuilter; below is a picture of the full quilt, plus some detail pictures of the quilting. Notice how exactly the bird is sewn out by the quilting robot.
This quilt, 60" x 80", has 9800 linear inches of quilting. |
