Aren't these fantastic colors! The clients wanted to remember their recent scuba-diving trip to the Cayman islands, so I selected a beautiful quilting pattern by Munnich Designs that had all of the fish and creatures that you see during a scuba trip. It turned out amazing! The main quilt was quilted with a variegated "Rainbows" thread by Superior, which gives the whole quilt a sheen in good light, but you can look at the detailed quilting up close as well. The borders were done in "So Fine!" thread to match the borders with individual fish motifs. That way, you can focus on the beautiful piecing of the quilt as a whole, or look at the great quilting patterns from up close. An amazing quilt.
